We’re Having A Parade!
The Fairview Park Summerfest Committee invites you to participate in the 2024 Fairview Park Summerfest Parade. Registration is required – Sign Up Form.
DATE: FRIDAY, JULY 26, 2024
TIME: 6:00 PM SHARP!
WHERE: GILLES-SWEET ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
1. Please report to the registration area starting at 4:30 pm. The registration area is located at the rear parking lot of Gilles-Sweet Elementary School at W. 222nd Street and Alexander Road.
2. If you are joining a group, meet at an alternate location and come to parade assembly area as a group. There is no waiting area for others and no parking at assembly area.
3. Candy and any other materials may not be tossed in any fashion by those walking in the parade. Rather candy and other materials may only be handed out to observers along the parade route. Revised July 24, 2021.
4. Vehicles must keep pace with walkers to avoid gaps in the parade.
5. Your group must have identifying signs or banners.
6. Political candidates and for-profit units will be assessed $25.00. Payment is due by Thursday, July 18, 2024. Checks must be made payable to “Fairview Park Municipal Foundation.” Parade entry is free for non-profit units.
7. Completed registration form is required for participation. Return form and fee, if applicable, by Thursday, July 18, 2024.
